Just like all the interracial dating sites reviewed here, Match.com has its strengths too. The first and biggest strength is the site’s kickass matching algorithm. Second, you can easily create a profile that captures just about everything within minutes, thanks to its easy-to-use profile builder. Last but not least is the fact Match.com hosts its websites in 15 languages making it easily accessible to non-English speaking members.

Unfortunately, it cannot all be rosy. We promised you one of the honest Match dating reviews. One of the biggest limitations is its response time to questions and complaints. Well, being one of largest dating sites with the largest membership, we could attribute this slow response time to them being overwhelmed by this large user-base.

Founded in 1995 Match is one of Match.com is one of the most infamous and reputable dating sites that has been matching singles in the U.S for over 20 years. It boasts itself in having the largest members’ database for singles to choose from. The site has more than 2.5 million members with over 100, 000 active members on a weekly basis. Going by surveys done in comparison to other dating websites, this site has produced the most marriages and relationships.

And if you are looking for an interracial match, I will have you know that you will find members from all ethnicities registered here. There is no discrimination based on race when it comes to registering. Compared to other Interracial dating sites that we have reviewed, this site provides you with a list of 26 interests where you get to choose 5 from the predetermined interests. If you ask me, this is quite limiting since most interests aren’t captured. They also put a limit on one’s freedom to express their personality and individuality fully.

You can upload more than 20 pictures if you please. The member pictures are what the site uses to verify the realness of the profiles of its members. So, the more pictures of yourself you upload, the more authentic your profile will look to other members searching for love. This will also increase the number of hits your profile receives.

User safety seems to be one of the priorities as cited by most Match dating reviews. Match provides safety tips, guidelines, and information which members can benefit from both online and offline. One thing that has been highlighted on numerous Match reviews is the well detailed Frequently Asked Questions section. I was amazed at how this site seemed to have captured almost everything. So, unless you are too lazy to read, then you might never have to use their customer care service.

That said, the Match.com team is usually available via email and their “contact us” web form.  According to the information on the site, the team should be able to assist you within 48 hours of contacting them. This is what is available on both the free and paid memberships. As mentioned earlier though, most people aren’t impressed by the email response rate.

Other interracial dating sites usually offer phone support for all its members regardless of their membership status. However, I need to point out that on Match.com, phone support is available ONLY to paid members within the United States. This is a major limitation especially for a big online dating site like this one. This places paying members in other countries at an unfair disadvantage seeing as the subscription paid is the same and they are being denied this paying membership ‘privilege’.

You can also chat with the customer care reps on weekdays only, from 8-5am central time. They should have considered 24/7 support since online dating has no time or day limits and more importantly because most people usually get online after work and on weekends.

One thing I really liked about this site is that you can share your success story directly on the site. The site has also provided some questions to answer as a guide for those “stuck on what to write”. And these questions capture these love stories adequately.

All Match.com reviews I came across while doing this particular Match review talked about the impressive matching system they have in place. Yes, you have the freedom to do your own customized searches. However, the recommended matches by the site are pretty accurate I must say.

The site uses the information provided by its members when creating their profiles such as body type, age and interests and also the preferences of the person you would like to date, for instance, the ethnicity.
They have “mutual match” which you can select that brings you profiles that match the specifications of your preferred mate. Then there is the “reverse match” which shows you the members that are looking for someone with your specifications. Genius right?

The matching isn’t just based on that. Apparently, the system also accesses a member’s behavior on the site. For instance: If your profile indicates that you are looking for a person who is white, then someday you go through a profile of a mixed race individual and you end up chatting with them for a while, then Match will take this into consideration. Next time mixed race men or women will also be included on your matches.

Privacy on Match – your information is safe

Most sites have incorporated the Facebook sign-up and login feature. And Match is one of them. But should one be worried that their Match dating information is going to be plastered all over their Facebook public profile? NO! All your information is kept private and communication anonymous.

When doing this Match dating review, I realized that the only they connect to your Facebook is that you can easily import data and photos from there. You make that decision.

The other thing I also came across is the “hidden profile”. You can choose the kind of people you want accessing your profile.
